Change of Plan
I've decided that typing a recipe every week is a pain. Thursday is now Question Day.
The inaugural question is: If you could win an Olympic medal, what sport would it be in?
I would have to say, pairs figure skating. I've always wanted to be able to do that and pairs is so exciting to watch. Having a strong man throw me around so confidently... Heh heh. Yeah. That'd be fun. Plus, there's good money to be had afterward doing shows around the country.
So, how about you? Choose a sport.

Well, since Naked Time isn't a sport ...
Volleyball or baseball -- not that baseball is an olympic sport after the next summer games. For some reason the IOC is dropping it. But ...yeah. I'd like to be a center fielder/slugger. Or a catcher and that would be FUN calling the strategy for the gold medal game. Okay, I missed baseball way too much this Winter.
The hotel in Atlanta is a seductive three miles from Turner Field, home of the Braves, my and my husband's favorite baseball team. Some of my time will not be spent at the Marquis Marriot!

I like baseball as an idea, the history and how integral it's been in America's past, but I am just pretty much bored by the sport. So much of the time you're just waiting around for something to happen. It's like cheese. I WISH I could like it. Seems like everyone else really enjoys it. :)

Did I ever tell you my husband was scouted by the pros before his knees went? I would have been a baseball wife. I could have liked that.
And it's not waiting! You have to know what the strategy is, though. It's not easy to pick up on. I liked the game, but once my Wonderful Husband(TM) taught me what to look for in strategy I just fell head over heels for the sport.
That would make a big difference, I suppose. I just like the hot dogs. ;)
