Artist: Deborah Tidwell
I love finding new art to admire and recently found this wonderful lady. I love the everyday topics she chooses to paint. I relate to many of the viewpoints.
Decisions, Decisions
Haven't we all been in THIS situation? I'd probably get the Doritos.

This one is called Weighing In. I completely relate to this, but would never even pick up a copy of Triathlete magazine, let alone have it languish in my bathroom.
Lastly, The Bath. I see this view of myself whenever possible. And the thickness of the thighs seems true to size! LOL Her tub seems much deeper than mine, though. I'm jealous.

OMG! Do you know that i have her on my gallery site and that we used to work together fifteen years ago? I got a (now defunct) Women's Mag to feature her art on it's cover several years ago. How freaking cool is this!!! (Can you tell i'm jumping up and down?) Heyya Deb - if you stop by I'm waving wildly at you! Small world. Damn Kate. You're uber awesome. I love Deb's work.
Rhian, ordinarily I'd agree that it's a small world, but I found Deb VIA your site. LOL. I hope you're still jumping, though. :D
totally laughing at myself!! Glad i could help spread the art love though!
I love spreading the art love. A writer friend of mine, Eden Bradley, is going to feature art on her blog, too.
thought you might enjoy this bit of news: just got an "i'm out of the office and enjoying myself in Maui" email from Deb. The stinker.
Love these! Wish I could afford art right now. I used to buy a bunch of new artists when I lived in New York. I had to give all of my paintings to a friend when I moved, however, they wouldn't fit in my tiny car.
I had one that was 8x8 feet that I found in a dumpster down in Williamsburg brooklyn. I loved that painting :(.
Anna
What wonderful paintings! I especially love the first one - I did that every day for seven years at my last job...how sad is that??
LOL
Wow I love those paintings! I thought the first one was a pic. Very cool. Thanks for sharing :D
Maui, huh? Stinker indeed! LOL
Yeah, Anna, I can't afford real art right now, so I just decorate my blog. LOL
Karen, I remember when the vending machine was one of the highlights of my day. Kinda sad, huh!
You're welcome, Shelli! I love finding art that I like.
My life in art. Buy a bag of Chez-its, weigh and swear never to eat junk food again, take a bath and forget about it, buy another bag of Chez-its.
Those reduced fat Cheez-Its are really good. :)
