8 Little Things
I've been tagged by Dawn Halliday to list 8 little known facts about me. I read hers and she cheated! I don't think those facts are little known, because I knew some of them from her website/blog. Anyway, here are my factoids.
1. I have a beauty mark on the second toe of my right foot.
2. I sunbathed topless in Greece in my wild youth.
3. I once stole a Barbie from a friend. When I was caught, my parents made me apologize and return it to her in front of her parents.
4. I owned a pet rock in the seventies. It's name was Fred.
5. I didn't know what bagels were until I was in fifth grade.
6. I had a giant crush on my fifth grade teacher, Mr. Reed, but I suspect now that he was gay.
7. At my mother's urging I boldly entered Johnny Carson's limo and asked him for his autograph when I was four.
8. I sometimes cheat on my diet with Tommy's chili fries.

I didn't cheat! The 8 things on the blog were waaaay more specific than on my website. Hehe :).
I love that you owned a pet rock named Fred. That's hilarious! And I think I've heard that Johnny Carson story before...on your website, maybe? LOL. No, I think it was somewhere else...

I was tagged by Roxy in April, and this is already posted on my blog. But for the reading enjoyment of the lovely Kate's readers...
1) I will not drink out of a water glass. If I do, the glass will shatter against my lips. It will, I tell you! I prefer coffee mugs. Nice, solid coffee mugs.
2) I make up songs to annoy people in the car. I sing until they start throwing things at me.
3) I once worked as a Science Specialist, and actually had to remove brown bats from a school courtyard as a part of my job. Oh, and I fed and sexed snakes, too. Do you know how to tell a girl snake from a boy snake? I do!
4) I wrote my first book when I was 10 years old and submitted it to Random House.
5) My favorite piece of music is the soundtrack from Conan the Barbarian by Basil Poledorus. Love it. L O V E * I T!
6) I wear only clogs. I have worn clogs as my primary shoe for nearly 30 years.
7) I do not wear white. Ever.
8) Long story short: I was regressed by a hypnotherapist because of an irrational fear of a ditch at the end of our alley when I was a kid. While "under" I relived a past life where I was a little Jewish girl in Poland, gassed and buried while still alive in a mass grave--in a ditch. I began speaking German (which I did not speak at age 13) and gave incredible details about the place and the people around me. My mother still has the cassette. I "woke up" no longer afraid of the ditch.
Dawn, LOL! And that tidbit about Johnny appeared in Jeanne Laws' newsletter many months ago.
